Reading what people actually say
Profiling, behavioral analysis and structured interviewing for situations where truth matters: integrity investigations, hiring, negotiations, crisis intervention.
When is profiling & interviewing the right choice?
In conversations that matter, an integrity investigation, a hire for a critical role, a negotiation, a suspicious pattern, what is said is rarely the key. It is the pauses, the inconsistencies, the micro-expressions, the way someone moves. Profiling is the craft of perceiving, reading and interpreting that.
Our profiling practice integrates behavioral analysis, kinesic interviewing, and the NICHD protocol for vulnerable witnesses. Each method has its own application, often deployed in combination.
Profiling is not gut-feel people-reading. It is scientifically grounded, structured and repeatable: rooted in interviewing techniques, kinesic interviewing and behavioral-analytic models proven in operational work. Our team trained at PATC (Public Agency Training Council, US — the same school that trains FBI, US Marshals, and federal investigators), with courses including Kinesic Interrogation and Hostage Negotiation.
We train professionals in these methodologies, support organizations in complex truth-finding, and apply it ourselves daily, from recruitment to crisis. Profiling is not a gimmick: it is craftsmanship, and it makes the difference.
Our profilers work in Dutch and English, across the Caribbean and Europe, with operational expertise from policing, justice and corporate practice.
Our methodologies
Profiling & behavioral analysis
Reading what people actually communicate: micro-expressions, body language, vocal nuances, word choice. For integrity investigations, leader screening, and behavioral analysis under pressure in operational and HR contexts.
Kinesic interviewing
Structured interviewing in which verbal and non-verbal signals are analyzed together. Trained at PATC (Public Agency Training Council, US), the academy that also trains FBI, US Marshals and federal investigators. Especially effective in investigative conversations and hiring for critical roles.
NICHD protocol
A scientifically validated interview protocol designed for conversations with vulnerable witnesses (children, victims, those who have been traumatised). It prevents suggestive questioning and increases the reliability of what is said.
People due diligence
Structured investigation of leadership and executive backgrounds, combining behavioral analysis with documented professional context. Reduces soft-side risk in hiring, M&A, and partnership decisions.
How we work
01
Case intake
Confidential conversation about the question, the context and what is at stake. We assess whether profiling adds value and which methodology fits.
02
Methodology selection
Based on the case we select behavioral analysis, kinesic interviewing, NICHD or a combination. Approach, deliverables and confidentiality framework agreed before we start.
03
Execution
The actual work: structured interview, behavioral observation, analysis of existing material. By experienced profilers with operational backgrounds.
04
Reporting
Clear, documented reporting with findings, evidence and recommendations. For your decision-making, not as a standalone verdict.
What profiling & interviewing delivers
A good profiling analysis does not deliver a ready-made verdict. It does deliver: defensible patterns, evidence-based insights, better questions and concrete handles for the next step (conversation, decision, program). You keep control; we give you professional-grade material to work with.
In integrity work we measure success in reliability: how robust is the conclusion? In hiring: does the profile predict performance under pressure? In crisis intervention: does the behavioral analysis speed the right call? Our clients choose us for outcomes that hold up in practice, not for polished reports.
What we will not do: confirm what you want to hear. An honest profile can contain uncomfortable conclusions. That discomfort is exactly why you bring us in: you want to be able to trust the material, especially when it diverges from your first instinct.

Frequently asked questions about profiling & interviewing
What does a profiling engagement cost?
Costs depend on the type of analysis, complexity and deliverables. We work on an hourly rate or fixed price per engagement. No costs are charged for the intake.
How do you handle confidentiality?
Strictly. All profiling engagements take place under a confidentiality agreement. Findings are shared only with the principal. For work with legal impact we use adapted protocols to safeguard evidentiary value.
Do you give a definitive verdict?
We deliver evidence-based findings and recommendations, not a verdict. Decision-making remains with you, or with the relevant authority. Our reporting is meant to improve that decision, not to replace it.
When do I choose PATC, NICHD or behavioral analysis?
Structured interviewing (PATC-trained) for investigative interviews and critical hires. NICHD protocol for vulnerable witnesses or cases with legal impact. Behavioral analysis as continuous screening or for crisis intervention. We advise during intake which method fits best.

Reading behavior under pressure. Body language, paraverbal cues, micro-expressions. Where lying, evasion or being cornered becomes visible.
Structured interviewing (PATC-trained)
Picking up personality dimensions and integrity signals in a natural conversation, without a formal test. Trained at PATC (Public Agency Training Council, US — same school that trains FBI, US Marshals and federal investigators).
